Brainstorming of Content For Documentary

The left image shows the brain storming idea's for my groups project of 'The Gig Experience'. We mapped out what possible features we could include in the documentary and even expanded some points such as interivews to discuss the possible people we could interview that would be relevant to the documentary. We tried to make sure that we came up with as many idea's as possible for our documentary so that we could make an entertaining documentary that would not bore our target audience. As we have agreed on an audience of young adults, this means that they will be more focused on the upbeat artistic features of the documentary, so as much editing and footage needs to be used as possible to make it interesting. Under the 'Ideas' heading we have also discussed what the main aim of our documentary will be. We came up with a list of possible idea's that we could use in our documentary so that the documentary would have a purpose.

The right image shows that we came up with alternate idea's in case our live music, gig themed idea doesn't go to plan. Underneath that is the timeline we created to show what we will have on screen during the first five minutes of the documentary. We split the timeline into two, so that the left side will contain all the sound that will be on the documentary and on the right will be all the visual footage that the audience will see in the documentary. We have listed the different features in a chronological order, linking the visual with the sound so that we know what will compliment each other. We have put a rough guide of how long each segment will be, just so we know how much we will need to film for this documentary.
